The low pressure area now centered over southwest Bay of Bengal adjoining north Tamilnadu ““ South Andhra Pradesh coasts is continuing to cause Heavy to very heavy rain in Tamilnadu and at isolated places over south Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema, and South Interior Karnataka today, November 17.
Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea along & off north Tamilnadu & Pudducherry and Andhra Pradesh coasts. Strong wind speed reaching 35Â45 kmph gusting to 55 kmph would prevail along & off Tamilnadu & Pudducherry and south Andhra Pradesh coasts today.

The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a warning for very heavy or extremely heavy rains for today in these regions.
It is predicted that Heavy rain would occur tomorrow at isolated places over south Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Tamilnadu & Pondicherry.
