USPA NEWS - The Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson has said clearly that NO MUSLIM should be ever President of United states of America. He said in an interview with NBC "I would not advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation. I absolutely would not agree with that."

He told the Host chuck Todd when esked if he believed Islam, "No, I don't, I do not."

While he said he didn't believe a person who practices islam should be elected president, he were more open to Muslims serving in Congress. "Congress is a different story, but it depends on who that Muslim is and what their policies are, just as it depends on what anybody else says, you know."

Congress has two Muslim members, Democratic Reps Keith Ellison of Minnesota and Andre Carson of Indiana.

Host Chuck Todd was getting Ben Carson's reaction to the controversy that has plagued Donald Trumps's campaign in recent days over whether the billionaire should have corrected an attendee at a town hall forum in New Hampshire, who called President Barack Obama a Muslim and 'not even an American'. Donald Trump on ABC 'This Week' said he doesn't talk about other people's faith and that Barack Obama is very capable of defending himself.

Ben Carson's comments drew strong criticism from the country's largest Muslim Civil Rights and Advocacy Organization, the Council on American-Islamic Relations. Ibrahim Hooper, the spokesman reacted by saying "To me this really means he is not qualified to be President of the United States... You cannot hold these kinds of views and at the same time say you will represent all Americans, of all faiths and backgrounds."

Ben Carson is a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church, in October, he will publish a book written with his wife and entitled 'A More Perfect Union : What We the People Can Do to Reclaim Our Constitutional Liberties.
