AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL OFFICIAL DEFINTION OF A MIGRANT---------------------------------------------------------- "A migrant is a person who leaves his country to live and generally seek work elsewhere, either temporarily or sustainably. For some, this departure is voluntary. Others feel they have no choice, because they experience in their countries of origin of economic difficulties or other problems. Others leave for a variety of reasons. Shares of Amnesty International, aim to prevent and denounce violations of the rights of migrants, asylum seekers and refugees. They aim to compel states to take the necessary measures to ensure that they are protected." The campaign is organised in two main areas: “¢ A reactive work to prevent referrals of migrants, asylum seekers and refugees to a territory where they would be exposed to violations of their rights.
