The Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi´s Gift to the President of Uzbekistan, Mr. Islam Karimov, at Kuksaroy Complex, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan on July 06, 2015. It´s written in Persian, and profusely decorated and illuminated with various colours including gold and ultramarine.
The Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi presented the President Mr. Islam Karimov a specially commissioned reproduction of Khamsa-i-Khusrau by the great 13th century Sufi Poet Amir Khusrau who was born in Uttar Pradesh and whose father hailed from Uzbekistan. It´s written in Persian, and profusely decorated and illuminated with various colours including gold and ultramarine, the work is a part of the manuscripts collection of National Museum, Delhi.
The Prime Minister Modi presented this gift to the President Islam Karimov on July 6.
