Award for “Excellent Practices for Rendering Services to Students in Andhra Pradesh“ has been conferred on “Vaagdevi Institute of Technology & Science (VITS)“, Proddatur.

Brig MN Venugopal, VSM, Chief ““ Admin & Pers Engineering Staff College of India, Mr. Vivek Reddy, Ambassador, Telecom Sector Skill Council, Mr. Rupinder Singh, Vice President, Datawind Ltd. (Makers of Akash Tablet) and other dignitaries were present in the programme.
Speaking on the occasion, VITS Principal Dr. N Kumara Swamy said that this award has been conferred on VITS in recognition of its excellent students services for the last fourteen years. The award is strictly for the values, discipline, academic standards and facilities being maintained by VITS through all these years.

It has enhanced our responsibility as well, the Principal added. We start adopting the best practices from the next academic year on par with the prestigious national IITs to mould our students into the best engineers in the country, he stressed.
The award is given in recognition of the dedicated services by our faculty members and best academic facilities provided by VITS. We continue to provide better services for our students and faculty members to carve a special niche for VITS in the field of education, said Mr. G Hussain Reddy.
